Numerous emitters have air quality permits in the Portland, Oregon carbon monoxide and ozone Air Quality Maintenance Area (AQMA). This Portland AQMA map [.pdf] shows the extent of the AQMA (also in smaller [.jpg] file size format). Generally, the AQMA covers from the Columbia River south to the Willamette River in the Wilsonville vicinity, east to the proximity of the Sandy River, and west to the vicinity of Forest Grove. The map also indicates the adjacent AQMA in Vancouver, Washington.

 
 

  An air quality maintenance area is currently being proposed for the Salem-Keizer region to replace the existing carbon monoxide (CO) non-attainment area. Numerous emitters have air quality permits in this airshed region, which has been identified as not in compliance with carbon monoxide and ozone standards. This Salem-Keizer map [.pdf] shows the extent of the proposed carbon monoxide AQMA. Generally, the AQMA covers the region north of Keizer south to the Turner vicinity, and west from the vicinity of Oak Grove Road to the east proximity of 62nd Avenue.
